HAPPY ESHMAS Once a year we get to gather around with friends and family and celebrate the time of Christmas. For some of us Christmas is about the only thing we can truly look forward to all year, the gifts, the food, the fun times with people close to us, it embodies the joys in life. Between the colder weather, the warm fires, the panic at the malls to find gifts, and the joy on the faces of those receiving our gifts… Christmas is a time of great emotion. Every up and down in the whirlwinds of the emotional rollercoaster world can be embraced by us as we go through the day. A perfect example of the highs and lows would simply be: the wonderful smells of the Christmas tree and burning fires erased quickly by a burnt turkey in the oven if we were "ironically and sadly" too busy enjoying the joyful laughter of our friends and families. Everything is a contradiction. Everything can be embraced for what it is. Everything about Christmas is everything about life. Open your eyes, open your ears, open your sense, embrace life, and enjoy this wonderful holiday. Have a Happy ESHmas! |
